Workshop: Enhancing the Value of Agricultural By-products for E-commerce and Export

During our journey of supporting SMEs in Lao Cai and Son La in the agricultural sector, we observed a significant amount of agricultural by-products being wasted. For example, fruit peels, plant stems and leaves, seeds, and branches are often discarded or underutilized, leading to resource waste and environmental harm. Additionally, many local agricultural products face challenges in packaging design and quality. Utilizing by-products to create high-value, eco-friendly agricultural products is highly valued by international markets and has the potential to integrate into businesses' digital transformation value chains.

This workshop is part of the IDAP project - "Inclusive Digital Acceleration Program for SMEs", aimed at helping local agricultural businesses adopt technology in managing by-products. This not only reduces agricultural waste but also supports sustainable development and digital transformation in agriculture.
