3 Days of Exhibition – 70 Potential Buyers | GEVA at Vietnam International Sourcing Expo 2025

Within the framework of the Vietnam International Sourcing Expo 2025, the GEVA project, in collaboration with the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), organized a trade connection booth with the goal of showcasing, promoting, and fostering green exports for Vietnamese agricultural products. The activity achieved several positive and concrete results:

  • 17 enterprises from the project’s network took turns exhibiting their signature products such as spices, nuts, and coffee. The booth quickly attracted significant attention from both domestic and international partners, becoming a highlight of the agricultural product exhibition area.

  • 07 one-on-one B2B sessions with international buyers, arranged by the Expo organizers, created many practical cooperation opportunities and laid the foundation for Vietnamese businesses to directly access international distribution systems and markets.

  • The project proactively approached nearly 70 potential buyers (including distributors, manufacturers, hotel and restaurant chains, and international traders), recording strong interest and demand for Vietnamese agricultural products. Detailed information about the enterprises in the project’s network was shared with buyers, opening up further opportunities for in-depth connections after the exhibition.

Not stopping at these initial connections, in the coming period, GEVA will continue to accompany enterprises by monitoring buyer demand, proactively introducing and facilitating targeted connections with relevant businesses, and supporting the process of building cooperative relationships as well as expanding sustainable markets.

This event marks an important starting point in GEVA’s journey to bring Vietnamese agricultural products – particularly in the sectors of spices, nuts, and coffee – to international markets in a sustainable way. Through close collaboration with industry associations, trade support organizations, and the business community, GEVA aims to enhance competitiveness, promote green exports, and affirm the position of Vietnamese agricultural products on the global trade map.

Final Training Session in Ho Chi Minh City – A Practical Field Trip to Vina T&T Group!

After four intensive training sessions covering practical and in-depth topics such as Business Models, Voluntary Sustainability Standards (VSS), and Export Operations, the Green Export Training Program officially concluded in Ho Chi Minh City.

The highlight of the program was a field trip to Vina T&T Group – one of Vietnam’s leading agricultural exporters, with over 10 years of experience conquering the U.S. market and other highly demanding international markets.

With perseverance and relentless effort, Vina T&T has risen to become a leader in exporting pomelos and coconuts to the United States – a market renowned for its stringent quality requirements and strict food safety standards. This achievement not only reflects the company’s strategic vision but also demonstrates the resilience of a Vietnamese enterprise on the path of global integration.

During the field trip, participating businesses gained valuable experiences:

  • Visiting pomelo and coconut farms that apply sustainable organic farming models.

  • Enjoying fresh fruits right at the orchard, experiencing the true quality and value of Vietnamese agricultural products.

  • Meeting and listening to farmers share their journey of transitioning to organic farming, supported and accompanied closely by Vina T&T Group.

  • Touring Vina T&T’s modern processing facilities, certified by many prestigious international standards in quality and sustainability such as BRCGS, Global G.A.P, ISO, HACCP, SMETA, and USDA Organic.

The message from Vina T&T Group was conveyed very clearly:
To successfully access international markets, Vietnamese agricultural enterprises must boldly transition to organic farming models while building strong, long-term partnerships with farmers – the very people who create the true value of the products. Providing support, encouragement, and close collaboration with farmers is the solid foundation for sustainable development.

We believe that the Green Export Training Program, together with this practical field trip, not only delivered in-depth and valuable knowledge but also ignited powerful inspiration for Vietnamese agribusinesses. This will serve as a precious foundation for them to continue conquering global markets – through the path of green, clean, and sustainable growth.

Recap of the Sustainable Green Export Training in Bến Tre (September 3–5, 2025)

Continuing the “Sustainable Green Export” training series previously held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the GEVA program extended its journey to accompany businesses in the Mekong Delta through a training course in Bến Tre City from September 3 to 5, 2025. This was an opportunity for local enterprises and cooperatives to directly access essential knowledge and tools to meet the increasingly strict requirements of international markets for green and sustainable products.

At the opening ceremony, Ms. Nguyễn Đặng Tuấn Minh – CEO of KisStartup, and Mr. Nguyễn Khắc Hân – Director of the CSAT Bến Tre Project Management Unit, signed a Memorandum of Understanding, marking a collaboration to bring practical training and support solutions closer to the local business community. This represents an important first step in accompanying businesses on their journey toward green export transformation.

Over three days, participants were equipped with knowledge and tools to build business models aligned with ESG and VSS, practice applying the Green Export Readiness Assessment toolkit, and develop concrete action plans. They also learned how to connect and expand cooperation through the 4P partnership model. Participating businesses came from various provinces across the Mekong Delta, working in agriculture, agricultural processing, seafood, spices, local fruits, food, handicrafts, and gastronomy—sectors rich in regional characteristics and export potential.

A key highlight of the program was fostering a mindset shift toward sustainability and learning to tell the story of green products and services. Green transition is an inevitable trend. Beyond being guided on VSS and voluntary sustainability standards, participants also received coaching on adapting their business models to align with seven emerging trends impacting enterprises. They explored the use of artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT and Perplexity as intelligent assistants to help communicate green messages to customers.

The study visit to the Bến Tre Green Pomelo Cooperative offered participants a valuable opportunity to observe real-life practices, receive expert advice, and connect with local businesses. Firsthand sharing from the cooperative on processes and mindsets became practical lessons for enterprises striving toward green export.

Participating businesses highly appreciated the training content for its practicality and alignment with their needs, helping them gain a clearer roadmap for voluntary and sustainable green transition. This lays a crucial foundation for enterprises to increase their export market access while contributing to local green development. In the coming period, KisStartup will continue to monitor, support, and accompany local enterprises through incubation and promotion activities under the next phase of the GEVA project, thereby realizing the goal of sustainable development for the Mekong Delta business community.
