The event "Enhancing Digital Transformation Skills for Lecturers and Students in Lào Cai" is part of the IDAP (Inclusive Digital Acceleration Program), an initiative aimed at strengthening the inclusive digital transformation ecosystem for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Lào Cai and Sơn La. This event offers a valuable opportunity for local university and college lecturers and students to learn and enhance their knowledge of digital transformation, better preparing them for a technology-driven future.
The IDAP project is implemented by KisStartup JSC with funding from the GREAT initiative, supported by the Australian Government, which aims to promote gender equality and sustainable economic development in Lào Cai and Sơn La through digital transformation.
In the context of Vietnam's rapidly advancing digital transformation, this event not only provides foundational knowledge but also encourages active participation from lecturers and students—key future human resources for the local digital ecosystem. The program promises to deepen understanding of practical aspects of digital transformation in agriculture and tourism while fostering connections and collaboration within the community.

Main Content of the Basic Training Program
- Session 1: Digital transformation and the inclusive ecosystem & the role of lecturers in the digital transformation ecosystem; Introduction to AI as a new companion.
- Session 2: Steps in digital transformation and opportunities for students and lecturers; Hands-on practice with tools to support businesses.
- Session 3: Core technologies in digital transformation; Practical application of design thinking in digital transformation.
- Session 4: Innovative mindset in digital transformation & developing potential services.
Completion of the Basic Training Program
- Opportunity for lecturers and students to engage in advanced training and coaching by working directly with businesses.
- Pilot provision of digital transformation services, including digital business innovation in Lào Cai.
- Access to digital workforce training materials and guidance for integrating them into teaching programs.
- Assistance in establishing university-college partnership models with potential local and external partners for further collaborations.
