The launching ceremony of the series of events "Vietnam - Canada Impact Exchange Forum" has taken place successfully and attracted more than 40 businesses, departments and agencies of the cities and provinces, especially Tra Vinh, participated via Zoom and hundreds of people watched through online channels on the afternoon of September 20, 2023.
At the event, KisStartup and Spring Activator introduced opportunities between the two markets of Vietnam and Canada, and also explained the choice of topics connecting impact investment, import and export for impact businesses, gender lens investment as the 03 main focuses of this series of activities. The series of activities is expected to support 15 deeply participating businesses and hundreds of other businesses participating in 09 public events within the framework of the Forum.
Immediately after the end of the launching event, there were more than 80 registrations to participate in the Forum's activities.
This is an important step forward in promoting cooperation and exchange of experiences between the Vietnamese and Canadian impact business ecosystems. The event series was initiated and operated by KisStartup Joint Stock Company (Vietnam) and Spring Activator (Canada), with sponsorship and special support from the Canadian Embassy, Tra Vinh SME and ISEE COVID project (UNDP).
The events series include 03 main activities as follows: 
- Vietnam - Canada SMEs Export & Import Opportunity Exchange & Showcases (creating space for businesses between Vietnam and Canada to exchange information and seek import-export opportunities);
- Vietnam - Canada Cross Border Impact Catalyst Forum (promoting connections, creating exchange opportunities between the business community and impact investors in Vietnam and Canada);
- Vietnam-Canada Gender Lens Investing Forum (promoting the integration of a gender lens in investment and business to support investment and business be more financially effective and create positive impacts for society).
The series of activities will take place over 03 months (September, October and November 2023) with the participation of businesses of the two countries and the results of cooperation and exchange will be gathered at the final event of the Vietnam Canada Impact Exchange Forum in November 2023.
