Consultative Workshop Series: Enhancing Product Value for Agriculture and Tourism to Support Digital Transformation
Workshop 04: Hologram Technology for Agriculture and Tourism
Hologram technology creates three-dimensional (3D) images using laser light and advanced optical techniques. Compared to traditional display technologies, holograms create vivid and realistic images that allow viewers to observe from multiple angles without the need for special glasses.
Why should businesses adopt hologram technology?
In Agriculture:
- Product Promotion: Holograms allow businesses to present agricultural products in a more visual and impressive manner, helping customers better understand the quality, production process, or unique features of the product.
- Education and Training: Holograms can assist in providing clear, intuitive guidance on cultivation techniques or product storage methods, particularly effective in training sessions for farmers.
In Tourism:
- Enhancing Tourist Experience: Hologram technology can recreate landscapes, festivals, customs, or historical figures in a lively way, offering an enriched experience without directly impacting the environment or heritage.
- Promoting Local Culture: Holograms help showcase cultural traditions and ethnic customs uniquely, preserving cultural values while attracting tourists. For example, they can recreate traditional dances or showcase distinctive crafts through dynamic 3D images.
This workshop is part of the IDAP project - “Inclusive Digital Acceleration Program for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs)” aimed at supporting businesses in their digital transformation journey and sustainable development. We bring holograms as not just an advanced technology but also a tool to help businesses familiarize themselves with the digital ecosystem. The adoption of this technology will help businesses not only access the local market but also expand internationally, making the most of the potentials of the digital age.
Main Content of the Workshop:
- Understanding hologram technology and its applications in cultural preservation, tourism, and agriculture.
- Introduction to successful hologram application models and simple methods for creating holograms for products or services.
Time: 16:30 - 18:00, November 19, 2024
Format: Online via Zoom
Target Participants:
- Homestay owners, small and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism and agriculture sectors.
- Individuals interested in digital transformation and sustainable development.
Speaker: Mr. Tuan Anh – Co-founder of HOLOLAB Ltd.
Benefits for Ethnic Minority Businesses:
- Enhancing Competitiveness: The use of advanced technology helps small and medium-sized enterprises build a professional image, increase the value of products and services, and expand their markets.
- Preserving and Promoting Identity: Holograms are not just a business tool but also a solution for preserving and transmitting the unique culture of ethnic minorities to future generations and global tourists.
- Reducing Long-Term Costs: Compared to transporting or preserving actual specimens, holograms help businesses save costs while still conveying core values.
This is an opportunity for SMEs in agriculture and tourism to gain deeper insights into how technology can enhance product value and take their products to international export markets.
