"Gender Lens Investment - Vietnam Canada" is a sharing session within the Vietnam-Canada Forum on impact development, investment, and gender lens integration. The program aims to narrow the access gap and promote inclusivity in business through gender lens investment.

This event is organized by KisStartup, a pioneering entity in carrying out the "Cross-Border Gender Lens Investment" series of activities in 2021 in Vietnam. Through a series of activities, it expands knowledge and investment opportunities from a gender perspective for businesses and investors. In particular, the event aims to help Socially Impactful Businesses (SIBs) in Vietnam and potential impact investors in Vietnam understand the benefits of integrating gender lens into investment decisions.

Participants include:

Investors interested in improving investment effectiveness.
Businesses with female founders/co-founders or serving women/girls, and businesses owned by members of the LGBT group.
Businesses create positive environmental and social impacts.
Organizations supporting startup businesses and impact-oriented businesses.

Participants will address questions such as:

What is gender lens investment?
Why should gender lens be integrated into investment decisions for the investor's own benefit?
Why integrate gender lens into business's decisions?
What to consider when seeking investment and identifying gender lens investors?
Useful programs and activities for businesses with gender lens integration.

After the program, three selected businesses will:

Practice their pitching skills.
Receive feedback on their investment pitch from domestic and international investors and investment funds.
