The increasing number of female entrepreneurs proves the attractiveness and advantages of business environment which opens up new opportunities. Startup mothers are just normal ones who run their business for earning money or bringing something better to their children through product or service, sometimes for facing inequalities in society.
There is no difference between startup mothers and startup fathers. They all have their own family, want to build a better world and face challenges.
For startup fathers, their challenges include business trips far away from home, working hours night after night and limited time with their children. Meanwhile, it is contradiction between time for work and time for children, between their own health and desire to devote their life to work that challenge startup mothers most.

The workshop is an opening event in event series “Startup Moms” hosted by KisStartup and WISE - Women’s Initiative for Startups and Entrepreneurship. Through this event, we will share with you challenges and develop your ideas to find opportunity in difficulties you are facing, as well as introduce to you resources which are supporting women entrepreneurs like you.
DISTINCTIVE POINTS: We understand that you want to focus on learning and networking without keeping an eye on their children. During workshop, we will have teachers to teach English and play with your kids.
NOTE: The workshop, as well as Startup Mums community don’t set vision toward gender equality. Our aim is to help you overcome typical challenges faced by startup mums and find opportunities in difficulties. In the near future, perhaps we will build Startup Dads community, too.
