IMPACT INVESTING Training 101 - Calling for application
Impact investing is an important form of investment which both creates capital for social and environmental impact solutions and provides significant returns for investors compared to traditional investment methods; however, in Vietnam, the impact investing market is still in its early stages, less both in terms of the amount of capital poured into the market and the number of successful deals compared to neighboring countries like Indonesia or the Philippines. In particular, the impact investing market in Vietnam is existing a large gap in the early-stage capital market - angel investment.
Focusing on angel investors interested in impact investing, KisStartup and Spring Activator (Canada) organize a series of activities for Vietnamese angel investors within the framework of the Plastic Alternatives Incubation Program ( C-Plastics Incubator)
Along with training with experts on Impact Investing from Canada, investors can practice directly on projects inside and outside the C-Plastics program to understand more about this future form of investment.

#WHAT_ARE_EXPECTATIONS AFTER_PARTICIPATION OF THE PROGRAM?
1/ Having knowledge about impact investing, measuring impact to consider making investment decisions in startups

1/ Learn the basics & practice of impact investing: 4.5 hours (3 sessions - 90 minutes/session)
2/ Observe and evaluate projects in the program: August - November

- Sponsorship from The Incubation Network: 30%
- The remaining costs are largely funded by KisStartup and Spring Activator and a small part of contributions from attendees to increase commitment and efficiency
